These 5 principles struck us as important for several reasons. One, was to help eliminate aspects of confusion that seem to surround the practice of service design. Two, is our way of hoping service designers adhere to these straightforward aims and principles in their work (which also helps distinguish service designers from other professionals); and three, to help re-focus service designers if and when they lose their way in the heat of the scrum.
