Feedback Best Practices
♦ Soliciting feedback should be an ongoing process.
♦ Assume all responses are anonymous but consider offering an option to self-identify.
♦ Make rating scales consistent throughout.
♦ Take opportunities to observe users interacting with a service, which oftentimes provides more useful feedback than respondents can offer.
♦ Build questions that allow respondents to answer in short, concise responses. Use open-ended questions sparingly.
♦ Avoid asking more than 10 questions. Respondents tend to abandon long surveys.
♦ Ask one question at a time.
